Bioshock 2 should only really be looked at as a single player experience, and in that respect, it is still one of the best money can buy. The story and philosophical issues it presents to the player are almost unparalleled in their depth - this gives the game the feeling of an interactive book, and coupled with its stunning artistic merits, it elevates this mere video game towards the realms of genuine "art"
While never surpassing the original Bioshock, this is still a must buy for anyone who is a fan of intelligent first person shooters, survival horror games, sci-fi, steampunk art, or just a fan of the first game.
Bottom line, this game may well be considered a masterpiece if it weren't forever doomed to live in the originals shadow, thusly, it comes highly recommended!
