Ugadhi festival is the auspicious start of telugu calendar year, where "Maavichiguru" plays an important role in this festive as part of Ugadhi pachadi. Maavichiguru as a soap is a beautiful story of an innocent girl named Meena (Sudheepa) from a small Hamlet. Meena being the central character of the story plays a role which is supported by and supporting everyone in the village. She always dreams of a beautiful life, enjoying playing with children and pets . Happy Meena has only one problem in her life which is in the form of her own step mother. Meena struggles and suffers a lot in her life due to the differences with her step mother. Meena loves Bose, a doctor who resides in the same village, and her life takes a miserable turn when she gets marry to Bose. Right after the marriage, an unexpected situation on Meena's first night occasion makes her life miserable. Because of misbehavior of a police officer and due to some false accusations made and proved against her in court of law, Meena will be arrested and sentenced to punishment. During this phase Meena also misses her Husband. The story from this point revolves with an engaging drama element and suspense angle as well.
