Pure Real-Time Software Render. 6 DOF, no DirectX, no OpenGl.;
Resolution: 1280x720, 3 parallel lights+ambient, shadow and 4x antialiasing,
one point light (footplate); I only used 3 cores because the screenshot capturing software needs 1 core. Image rendered into memory and than displayed with the BitBlt command. Zoom factor at start around 1.5
next parts: 16bit height maps / jungle / volume booling / editor / benchmarks

  • Nice! Why is there only a shadow but you say 3 parallel lights? Is it a ray tracer or a rasterizer?

  • It`s something like OpenGL. Very interesting.

  • How much poly?

  • why does it look so flat?
