I have a 1987 K100. Love those bikes! The best motorcycles BMW ever built. There are many K100's from the 1980's with over 300,000 miles on them.

I just got my 85 K-100 RS on the road this morning after 6 month's of rebuilding, and all I have to say about the bike is "Incredible"!!! What a great piece of German engineering! A very impressive build, look and with enough power, if only 90 Horses.

Topspeed is 220km/h. No more. I have K100 RS.

No, it isn't 220km/h, topspeed is max 217 - 218 km/h
