The concept of saying yes or no "during" the wedding is very tricky. I know a girl "H" whose mom told her she (the mother) is going to commit suicide if the girl "H" does not marry the man (M) her (H's) parents want her to marry. "H" liked someone else (T). But her love marriage to T would be haunted by curse of the mother.

So H had to say "yes" and became the mother of M's kids and is now depressed and fat.

yes thats right as a convert have had to learn from scratch.where a person how is born muslim.doesnt always follow all the teaching of islam.like arraged marriage are ok but only if both side arggee other wise if it is forced it is not considered vaild in islam.some countries may mixed there tradition and culture with islam which is not always right.

You are such a talented artist. I draw too. Imagine what life you can have and how much you can earn with ur talent in this country. You can help ur parents. In contrast, imagine what life you will be with an older man. If you give up ur dream, and marry the man of ur parents' choice, once you realized it is too late too change and most definitely you will be trap in an unhappy marriage. I grew up in an Islamic country, i know that it wasn't what Islam teachs. It is just a male-dominated society
