I've been meaning to put this up for a while and today it was 97 degrees outside so why not today. I explain a little about my effects at the end but nothing to detailed. I will say something annoying about playing this song that you might not realize unless you try it. It is without question this song is devided into many different guitar tracks over each other especially in the tapping section how one part overlaps another so playing that correctly is annoying. Howeevr, the most annoying thing about this song in my case was I played it with .9 gauge strings and the low string is tuned down to a LOW B. The slightest you strum the guitar string will make the B sound like a C because the gauge is so light so I had to be extra careful when playing any notes on the low string or they would sound a half step off. Word of advice, if you play this song do it with .12 and life will be easier for 4 mins. Any questions comments and concerns appreciated :) Enjoy

  • I really like this video, butt something about the sound coming from your guitar is...."boring"..."plain" I dunno Good Job 4 stars

  • @haropro2 I know exactly what it is, LOL - its the fact i did this on my Epiphone guitar because I won't detune by Gibson Studio or any of my other nicer guitars down to a LOW "B" in fear of screwing up the neck. All the weird tuning songs i do or play i play on cheaper guitars that i have. I keep my higher elite guitars in E and Eb. Stupid Epiphones

  • was tt a john 5 tab book in the video?! thank you

  • @pighut so drop tune away!

  • @pighut wellllll... my jackson came to me in STD tuning.. with a floyd.. i now have it in drop B. i have had it in drop A. and its fine.. so drop tuning guitars doesnt screw the neck up.. if you get the right gauge strings to match the tuning. like i use 12-56 in drop B... now.. the other band im in.. the guitarists are in drop G# and some songs in drop G and drop F#... still using 6 string guitars.. their stringsets are pretty intense.. like an 14-72 set.. haha and their guitars are fine..:D
