My prayers go out to Mrs. Faruq, his family and his friends. Just know that you were better off having known him than not. i didn't have the pleasure of meeting Mr. Faruq in person but he was such a powerful force in the lives that he touched that i felt as though i new him, so i am greatful that he was such a caring , energetic and powerful man that i could feel his committment through a 3rd party. Godspeed Mrs. Faruq.

Between this video and the celebration of Leon's life at Living Classrooms on Tuesday June 30th, it was complete perfection! Thank you for the loving and tender video tribute to a great humanitarian.

What a beautiful tribute to Leon. My prayer is that his dream of "Safe Streets" will come to fruition. Thank you Leon for your example to our youth.
