  • those zwords are realy sharp i carry a scar on the foot from one of them, and my sparring partner carry's a scar that looks like a moon crater on his arm. SO CARRY THOSE THINGS WITH CAUTION

  • @mrgimp420 Oh, I'm aware of how slow guns were back then, not to mention inaccurate. But they were in use by military units including the Musketeers; his claim was that they never used guns at all. That's my only point of contention.

  • @bthughes737 Even on the battlefield you would only be able to get off a few shots before the enemy closed the distance and you had to fight with swords. Firearms of this period could take over a minute to reload, even with well trained musketeers.

  • @sharadeth you make a good point :)

  • @moonymanj5 I said more lively not versatile. I would definitely give the broadsword the title as a better sword (not going t get into the silly "best sword" argument) due to its versatility alone :) and the training for sword and shield hurts a lot more in full contact

  • Worst lunge I've ever seen.

  • @sharadeth I would half agree, the Rapier is a good sword, but i prefer the broadsword

  • The idea that MUSKETeers didn't use firearms is insane. First, their name comes from the flintlock MUSKET. Second, if they didn't use guns, then they'd never be able to defend their king or themselves from assassins/soldiers/cutthroats who WOULD use guns.

  • @Protherium We should attach a generator to him and harness the energy of his rotation!

  • @Railriderchris That's why the Chinese and Romans used actually used heavier weapons for training-to build up strength to use real weapons easily.
