Bradbury opened our minds to adventure. The possibility of "travel into space and beyond."
I knew in my heart that if it was on TV.......sure as all get out.....it was real. Ray Bradbury
was the best; brilliant in his ironies and plots. Somehow, I think that I can imagine him in
a soup can going to Mars or would it be "GENESIS" and come back to Earth all new again.
Who knows......maybe?

Bradbury and Zicree have both been important parts of my life; I literally read The Twilight Zone Companion to pieces when I was in 8th grade. Thank you both!

"Live, forever!" I understand that Ray wants his remains to be transported to Mars for his final resting place--in a Campbell's soup can. There is a movement to make this happen on Facebook. He has so many ardent fans, that even if he said this in passing or as a joke, they are rallying to honor his wishes because they were so influenced and expanded as people by his work. As a fan myself, I think that it would be a grand and perfect shrine, in keeping with his sense of humor and spirit.

I was hoping that somehow you could get him on board with the writing at least for a little bit. The good thing is that least that he got to live a long and (i hope) fulfilling life. So many of the great people, the human colossi, leave this world so early.

Nicely done. My condolences on your (and all of our) loss. I know that Space Command will be a beautiful tribute to Ray - and he will bless it from beginning to forever. Virtual hugs - Johanna ( friend of Doug Drexler from the old New York City Days)
