If your games have stickers on the front look for them to be shiney and not just a plain sticker.
But from the sounds of it. Buying them from ebay is tricky for most people because over half the pokemon gba games on ebay are fakes. So theres a very good chance yours are too.

I don't have the Nintendo on my CPU for emerald ruby and sapphire, is it fake? Got them off eBay in the same purchase.
