  • This is a terrible video. All the "expert" talks about is what you can carry in a cooler.

  • I've found that a big block of ice, in additon to cubed will last much longer than cubed ice alone. Also don't drain the melted water, it actually helps retain the cold. Most importantly make sure food items are well sealed. A puntured bag leaking into the ice chest or ice chest water soaking into your food will not only mess up the food, it will make a mess of the ice chest.

  • @Jollyprez Burning fats in the body needs more ATP than carbs. Body prefer to burn the carbs first then fats then protein to get the energy. The first source of energy can be sugar-chocolate, potato etc... burning of sugar makes your body temp go higher immidiately.

  • Why is sugar aok for camping trips, but persona-non-grata otherwise? I think there is waaayyyy too much emphasis on carbs and sugar here. More protein and fats are needed. In cold weather, particularly, fats are better because burning fat keeps you warmer.

  • @RavenBlaze Nice tip. Thanks :)

  • BEAR!!!!

  • Also pialing sleeping bags and pillows around the cooler will give it some extra insilation. That is if you state-park-campsite camping, rather than back woods.
