SH:Shattered Memories ~ Part Fourteen

No big narration notes here since not much happens. Meet Lisa, and then drug her! Yay! :P Also, if you're going for the "Sleaze and Sirens" ending, then be sure to peep on Lisa for the entire time. If you're going for a better ending, peeping won't effect the ending here (as long as the rest of Harry's time is spent in a gentlemanly manner :P).

Also, I did want to touch on the "guilt" puzzle that Kaufmann hands us. Guilt is an interesting thing, and many people view it differently. What I want to know is, what did you guys say on the guilt quiz? Who did you rank highest and lowest? Like the "death" quiz, it's all a matter of perception, but for insight, here's my thoughts:

Girl: She ignored the signs warning of danger, so it was her own fault, yes? Plus, she didn't have to run away from the prince. She could've just slapped the shit out of him, I suppose. :P And, we should all be responsible for our own choices/decisions, true? Or is that what Kaufmann is testing here...?

Prince: They were married, so his advances weren't wrong. But, what Kaufmann doesn't tell you is how forceful he was. Marriage or not, consent is still an issue... :/ Had he really loved her, wouldn't he have backed off the first time she said "no," or was she just over-reacting to something as simple as a kiss...?

Father: He could've broken protocol to protect his daughter, right? Shouldn't he have? Or were his hands tied to the laws that bind?

Bull: He was just an animal. Killing is all he knew, right? Why should he feel guilt?

Yeah... either they screw up her personality or her hair color... :/ Though, in SM, Climax matched her personality pretty closely to the SH1 version of herself so I don't mind the red hair... *nod*

cont. from last post: If it was suicide, then it was the girl's choice to ignore the danger, and it would be more of the Father and Prince's fault for pushing her to suicide. Since she made it clear to her Father how badly she didn't want to marry him, and he didn't try to find a way out, he sorta "ignored the signs of Danger" too. And the Prince must've known that she didn't love him too, so he should've thought better than to try and force himself on her like that. That's only if it's suicide.

I thought I wouldn't like Lisa in this game, but I actually like her a whole lot!

And the puzzle, I basically agree with everything you said. Even though the girl was the victim, she was still reckless and could've avoided the danger.

Unless, the girl WANTED to die(they're usually pretty dramatic in those stories) and ignored the danger on purpose because she didn't care if she was killed or not. If it was suicide, then i think the blame shifts mostly to the father and prince.

I was kinda weird on it, I put bull first on my first try because well.. I thought it was literally who was 'guilty' of her death, and the bull did kill her, but on the second playthrough i went with princess, king, prince, bull, on who's fault it was. Seems best to me.

The puzzle confused me...becuase the prince kinda forced his love on the girl. She didn't love him. The king could have found other suitors...but I agree with the bull. I think the prince was the most guilty, followed by the king and the girl. Bull is last...
