  • Candida overgrows & presents in the blood when the immune system is suppressed. Even if it is "cleared up," it will return when a person begins eating good carbs/fruits again. Finding out what is damaging your immune system and reestablishing balance is the key to being well again. I've only seen this achieved through naturopathic medicine (conventional doctors really don't know enough to help people with this problem). When in balance, candida is beneficial & fights off harmful bacteria.
