Thanks. What is the weight of the rig with a digital slr camera? And do you use guy wires for the mast at 50'?

I have guy wires but I never found a need to use them. I rarely extend to the 50ft mark. A Canon 5D weighs about 2 pounds and the gimble is about the same so all together about 5 +/- pounds...Kinda guessing here.

what type of pan & tilt unit is that?
I have the new one from servocity (785 system) but the servos are set to return to their original position when you release the joystick.
