1991 Japanese Baseball Game

Sega Genesis baseball game I bought while living in Japan. I lived their from 1991-99 and loved watching Japanese baseball. In 1992 Ichiro caught my eye and I became a Orix Bluewave fan. I played this game every day for like 4 years.

can you play japanese sega games on a regular NTSC (USA) Genesis?

@Hotrodx199 The cartridges I bought in Japan had an extra piece on it that wouldn't allow it to be put into the console. I simply broke the plastic piece and they worked

is this you playing and if so did you record if off a tv or did you use an emulator and get it off the computer.

OK So stupid question (maybe) - but I don't know enough about Japanese baseball - I know Sport Talk Baseball was our version - just focused on the play by play; I didn't know the Japanese version had the songs; are those the real team fight songs?

2 options.

A: either pick a a game genie, as most games were only region locked by the shapes of the carts themselves and the game genie simply serves as a pass through or

B: pick up a genesis model 3 ( No game genie needed ) However, the downside with that is that mega drive games made in Japan after '93 had a lock out chip, where you would need a game genie and the code making the model 3 useless as the game genie does not work with the model 3.
