I love logging trucks, unfortunately in the midwest we dont see them here.

What a lovely sound! What a pity that these trucks can't be seen in Europe especially in Germany. Love them since I've been a kid. :-)

I drive a modified 550 CAT also.. I can't tell you exactly what modified pertains to because my dad handed it down to me.. But it's got 8" miters on it and trainhorns on the back.. That thing can get loud if it wants to.. Jake Break is my favorite sound of them all though..
i thought it was the feather river canyon west of quincy, i used to run through there quite a bit when i was running lowboy for harco outta reno like the way the airhorns are angles LOL

You would be right. That is the Feather River Canyon. Yeah, when I put all those lights accross the top of the cab, they were interfering with the air horn mounts, and I didn't want to just take the air horns off, so I just angled them out like that. ha ha

Actually on the other side of the state. Plumas county by Quincy. You see the Feather River canyon in this video up north east of Oroville.
