The Rebirth of NOLA

The "David" movie actually began as a story of the "Rebirth" of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Two things changed the course of this film... First - the rebuilding of New Orleans is sadly taking much longer than we had hoped, so much is left to do, so much is up in the air. So the city we grew up in is still nowhere near where it was. So our film wasn't gonna be too triumphant, unless we expanded our documentation of the rebirth process.

Second, our friend and brother David Allen Ashton passed away in 2006, a month after we drafted Reggie.

So we took some of our footage from the shooting of "Rebirth" and we added every piece of footage we ever took of David and "David" the movie was born.

Now David is rebirthed immortal online, thanks to YouTube.
