I love that you rewarded us with an explosion... baha
I know its been said, but you really need more in the way of locks. not just one lock either... you want to make it as inconvenient as possible for the thief.

u used cable lock or nothing ?
hope u find your bike ...

Chico is a GREAT town, but there are a LOT of thieves.
I had my stereo stolen, my sisters car was almost stolen twice,a friend caught a thief in his room, they even broke a friends window just to get the backpack.
Enjoy Chico, but don't leave ANYTHING in your car, and LOCK your house!

The incident occurred in the area of E 9th Ave and Mangrove.
Yes, lock your bike up well. Do not use a cable lock, they are easily defeated (as illustrated).

@moneybeard Thank you for the simple yet constructive criticism, I have definitely learned my lesson about bicycle security. That lock served me well for over 3 years, often times in larger cities and sketchier situations.
However, to justify this theft or any other malicious act towards another living thing because it is easy or not, is absolutely wrong.
