Although I can do just a little bit better. MSi Afterburner kills my in-game FPS while recording (even though the video turns out smooth). That makes quick-response much, much harder.

MSi Afterburner is a monitoring tool (GPU temperature, overclocking...) that also integrates image capture (screenshots) and video capture.

It's what I use to record, like FRAPS. Nothing in the D.E_Gaming channel is assisted by tools.

@Rukumouru Oh. see most games I've seen use another type of recording (usually an un-reigistered product that puts a watermark in the video, like HyperCam).

@hypersonic123456 Really? Most high-end PC recordings I have seen were done by using FRAPS, bu the FPS drop is much more dramatic than when using MSi Afterburner.

Either way, I should get my hands on external hardware to record this stuff. 60fps is a godsend when trying to speedrun.

I can do better, but playing while recording with MSi Afterburner makes speedrunning so much harder. 60 FPS for maximum response time makes everything simpler, but recording tools will kill your framerate!

@yikune I am playing/recording with an official Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller for Windows (Black, wired).

I highly recommend the use of a gamepad with this game, and the Xbox 360 wired controller is as good as it gets. Just hit the triggers.
