call me superficial, but I love the blast from the valkyrie shuttle. I've been looking all over trying to find a clip of that. Cheers.

@torukmakto4 The sad thing here tough is with all this "warnings" or previews that some people try to show the fact is we arent that far from Avatar Earth and Mankind.
-
I woulnd not say that Mankind Earth is innocent bystanders. They brought themselfs to that point RDA is just the "solution" they have accepted even if they choose to look away. The fact is withoud this bystanders RDA would not exist. Is quite curious how Mankind or Humans like to trown the blame to others normaly those at the top we either adore them or hate them but fact is we are just as responsable for our goverment or companies decisions as they are.

@torukmakto4 Unobtanium could "save" us I guess... But just for while if Earth society countinue as has been we always have to find other Pandoras feed off I am not aware of size of Pandora resources but for a feeding society like in Avatar Earth I would guess that not even Pandora resources would sufice. So like a sort of cancer we would have find another planet to desnaturalized to feed off the hunger.Anny species betwen us and that would be wipe out.

@ImperialGuard9001 That's the sad truth: Avatar Earth is not worth saving. It's careening toward oblivion and well past the event horizon. If RDA's operation even had the slightest societal goal, it was futile, an instinctual, animalistic clawing at survival that ultimately just threatened to drag down other life that had a chance at maintaining itself for posterity. The Na'vi. Philosophy aside, I bear no loyalty to self-destructiveness, and that is what Avatar humanity represents.
-
@ImperialGuard9001 They are an innocent outsider to the entire issue, which was generated wholly by the humans on Earth having failed as a society. It's that simple. Avatar's humanity screwed themselves over. They failed to plan for the future. The failed to have any collective foresight. Part of the meaning of Avatar is that the Na'vi are the antithesis of this, being a successful and stable society that has the guts for the long haul. They will be there millenia from now. We won't.
-
@ImperialGuard9001 And it wouldn't if RDA were allowed to continue?
The truth is that no such connection was ever mentioned. Unobtanium is not a magic bullet and mining it would not magically save "us" from our environmental/resource crisis. Allowing RDA to get rich at the expense of innocent lives would not likely make it suck much less for those billions on Earth. And the bottom line is that the Na'vi don't have anything to do with causing the problems facing that society.
-
@torukmakto4 Thats great. It will just suck for the rest of 20 bilion people on Avatar Earth.

@torukmakto4 The best bussiness is in times of crisis When you find some form of "solution" and basicaly can charge whatver you want for it. If Earth and Mankind are in such Crisis to find Resources to maintain our civilization I would think that the Corporations that are running the whole show would do their best to maintain the status quo and their continuous profits and above all control(that is the ultimate consequence of profit). Thus Avatar Happens.
"But that's the Na'vi's point!" ... "The Na'vi don't surf!"
