  • What happens with a 269 269 tie? It should go to strength of schedule Hilary > Huckabee

    Obama 08!

  • The House of Representatives would vote for the President, with each state's delegation getting one vote.

  • Great analysis!!

  • Thank you

  • Pro-life, pro-gun + creationalists tends to be as right of the spectrum as possible. Won't prevent abortions etc over here but it's an observation on a way particular nominations will handle problems domestically and abroad. Whether that be energy policy or militiary operations. The world will hold it's breath on 4/11/2008 anyway to see whether the US will carry on in the same direction or change to a new line.

  • Sorry, I'm not convinced. To say that if a candidate is right wing on social issues, that will inherently mean that s/he will react in a specific manner on foreign or economic policy issues is a major stretch. Frankly, whether US law allows abortions or gun ownership is none of Europe's business and Europeans who want to comment on US elections should stick to issues that affect Europeans like energy policy, foreign policy and some economic policy.

  • OBAMA 08!!!!!

  • Obama will win with all the Kerry states, plus Iowa, Colorado, and New Mexico. Virginia and Ohio could go either way.

Obama = Next President of the USA.

  • I can understand Europeans wanting a US President that is for curbing CO2 emissions (as McCain is) and I can certainly understand why Europeans are interested in a US President's foreign policy and even some aspects of economic policy, but why do you care whether a US President is pro-life or creationist or pro-gun? It's not like the President is going to prevent Europeans from having abortions or force European schools to teach creationism.
