Just for the record, like most liberals you need to understand that the President cannot enact anything without Congress...the Congress makes the laws, not the Pres., so when you had democrat controlled congress, who is to blame? I don't think so, the reason rates are up is due to government interference and being forced to pay for someone who comes in with cancer or another serious pre-existing condition. Also, drug companies are being told how much they can charge etc., get the government out as well as lawyers and the rates will drop big time!!

Now - do you want me to go into predatory lenders and the 1000 of cases they have open? Lo-income people didn't buy more home than they could afford. That community reinvestment act originally passed in the 70's, where were the foreclosures then? They were suckered into Adjustable Rate Mortgages & couldn't make the payments when rates reset.
