hmmm that engine sure looks like a cfm-56 to me! Which by the way is for a 737

those elevator(s) were 6A/7A, from there you could acces 4 of the southern-most core colums. They've cut these columns at 104th, 98th, 95th and maybe the 92th floor. The floating block rotated the floor slab inducing the inward bowing of south face. The charges were fired at 9:59.

New York has been having elevator issues. I read a whole article in the New York Times some years back about how riding elevators was a "risky ride". Both elevators and escalators were having issues and people getting hurt, killed in some instances. There are probably more elevators than elevator inspectors to keep up and if you had to shut down the elevators until they could be inspected/repaired..... that's a lot of stairs!

"...One of the major elevators that is going all the way to the top had been malfunctioning for at least a month prior to 9/11..." Who was servicing this elevator? This could be a big piece to solve this puzzle.
