Music like this deserves rapturous applause, not a smattering of claps. Nick Drake is a personal musical hero of mine, so maybe I'm biassed, but this is beautiful. Subtle, yet intense. The violinist plays that thing like a horn in her solo! Bass player is digging the groove so much it's practically a trench, anonymous pianist bringing an almost bluegrass-y feel in places; and the drummer. Holding it all together with the most delicate of ribbon. Amazing.
