For over thirty years The Holte End at Villa Park was the largest goal end in Europe with a capacity of 28,000. It's still the only place to watch your football (if you're a Villa supporter) and if you do wear the colours it symbolises the heartbeat of AVFC. The new Holte End has nowhere near the atmosphere of the old one, so the youngsters who never had the privilege of standing on the famous Holte End will never appreciate the level of noise which it used to produce.
