I took a 10hr bus trip while travelling through the UK and listened to Durutti Column the entire journey - this always reminds me of gazing out at fields in the Scottish countryside.

Vini Reilly to me is the best example of just how unique and important a figure Tony Wilson was in the music industry. You couldn't get anyone less rock n roll than the funny looking, softly spoken, introverted Vini, but Wilson just saw the quality of the music and that's what mattered.
