Demolition of the old Riverside Club in Lansingburgh began Feb. 26, 2007, but police later stopped the work on the north side because utility lines along the street leading to the Waterford Bridge were too close to the building. (Lori Van Buren / Times Union)

  • This shit is real sad. They just tore down friehoffers. I wish the city would try harder.

  • this is a sad site.  Kudos to everyone who fought so hard to preserve this corner of Troy history. A big stick to the city for not helping.
