I am a Christian and hypocrites like these old women do NOT represent me and they most certainly do NOT represent Jesus Christ. I am like Queen, of Black and Whie mixed heritage, and from reading and learning, I feel that Christianity has been the bedrock of the Black community. I believe it's helped us to stand strong and determined in the face of hatred...people may pretend or misunderstand Christianity (like these old crones), but God cannot be mocked. :)

@BLUEMIST415 Is indeed SOME shit. First saw this when I was really little, my grandmother had taped it and cut every commercial out perfectly. Still have the tape, but no VCR. Did you finish it? It's a GREAT movie. Also on this channel, there's The Feast of All Saints, which is a Showtime miniseries that was based on the Anne Rice novel; really good, though not as good as this. And yeah, man, of course. It's a mid 90's miniseries & the economy is bad. We're all blasted.

GUYS IM BLACK AND I COME FROM THE SAME HISTORY AS ALEX HALEY DID. I HAVE IRISH/BLACK/NATIVE AMERICAN in me... throughout this movie i have been angry and disgusted with what whites did to each other but the more i watch it we are all human. we have been cruel to each other no matter the color. Hopefully people wont walk away from this movie being racist or angry... just know more about human nature. we are all so fragile...and life is so short. love a man for his soul not his face.
