Cheryl's Children Something Inside So Strong - CD now out!

Labi Siffre's anti-apartheid song "Something inside so strong" seemed to take on a whole new relevance for the children of Cheryl's Children's Home in Dagoretti (Nairobi) (www.cherylshome.org). These inspirational children, mostly AIDS orphans, have all had very difficult and trying pasts, but it has proven that no barrier is too high for them to overcome, as long as they have "Something inside so strong"! "The more you refuse to hear my voice - the louder I will sing!" They are joined in this concert for "Kenya Build" (www.kenyabuild.com) at the Lord Erroll in Runda (Nairobi) by James Nelson (from the Celtic Tenors - www.celtictenors.com & www.jamesdnelson.com), Maeve Coghlan (Soprano www.myspace.com/maevecoghlan) and Colm Henry on piano(www.myspace.com/colmhenry). The spoken introduction is by Ziporah Mumbi.

@donnac11 Agree Donnac...this song is a tonne more than just words. It stands for the fight against apartheid in my opinion , a regime so evil and one that the British Conservative Party supported and deep down still do today. Im so glad the Labour party helped to get behind the cause that ended Apartheid in South Africa. Freedom is for ALL..its all of ours and its one thing i , as a British Royal Marine Commando have fought for.Freedom, something money will never be worth as much as.Great Video
