This was a radio show aired nationally by Houy Meas. This particular broadcasting is a rare interview with Sen Touch. Sen Touch was a relatively new singer who gained fame during the waning years of the Khmer Republic. Sadly her career was cut short in April of 1975 and she is believed to have perished under the communist regime.

  • wow powerfull thanx for sharing. anymore of her songs? when did she start sing, 1960, 1970, what happen to her?

  • Sem Touch was one of the last singers to arrive to the scene sometime around 1972. There are plenty of songs on the Youtube you can find by searching her name. We do not know what happened to her exactly during the Khmer Rouge regime but it is accepted she did not survive.

  • Yep, Khmer Rouge, Sihanous's allied killed its own people.

  • I belive this song was from 1972 story. My brother and I were listening to it on the radio at night. Then I was very young and loved her ever since.

  • Houy Meas has a beautiful Voice after Sin Sinsamouth and Ros Sereysothea. I don't know in the next 20 more years. (maybe: all yuon voice in Cambodia) =): di dov ahng kelm, di dov ahng kelm.

  • I love her voice so much.

    Thanks for post this,

  • I refuse to be the victim here. I would find another man that would love and get rid of that dog.

  • If someone has these songs in MP3, can you please share it? Thank you soooo much in advance

  • Thank you for introducing us to Sen Touch. Never heard of her till now. What a lovely and powerful voice. My heart breaks listening to her.

  • Very sweet voice but I can't take it any more, because it's too sad, emotional, sentimental song. I never heard of Sen Touch before however thank so much for sharing.
