You can't judge tone quality based on a poor quality video. Greg's trumpet tone is fatter than most flugel players I've heard - if this was a better quality audio capture you would hear his flugel tune is quite round and pure.

he might as well be playing a trumpet. That is way to bright of a sound for flugel.

@leadchops10 - I took this video on a point and shoot camera! It has a pretty bad mic on it... trust me, it's catching the highs... notice how bad the cymbals and the guitar sound too? His sound is amazing, round pure, full and rich. Check out his website and listen to things that were recorded with high quality equipment, you'll hear what I'm talking about!

Or very wrong! Great flugel sound! Round and pure... think about it! Don't always take your teacher's word for it! Then ask yourself, could he do it?
