@LMTR14 This wasn't meant to be a "good" hack by today's standards. It was meant to push the player to their limits with intense amounts of difficulty.
This hack CAN be played savestateless.
The tester for it tested it without savestates, and the first message box of the second one even says:
Easy Challenge: Beat with Savestaes
Normal Challenge: Beat using only a few savestates
Manly Challenge: Beat savestatless
or something along those lines.
Also, this games IS a good game.
