@guarddog22 Yea and every time I see people talking about a student being a part of a grandiose college football experience I think about a 3rd grader who is having more fun playing the game than worrying about wins or losses--their parents/coaches care more than they do.

@guarddog22 I feel sorry for you! It's these little traditions in life that make our human experience, I think!!! You could say the same thing to a kid about stupid toys under a Christmas tree or blowing out candles on a birthday cake- it is what it is. People enjoy sports & all the activity surrounding them... always have & always will! I don't think anyone is saying that the football players are more or less important than anyone else- just part of a tradition that people enjoy!

I love this! I think this is exactly how JoePa was welcomed into heaven!!!!! I feel so fortunate that I got to "grow up" in a place like Happy Valley!!
