sad song by M.O....... and sad song about Cambodia. Mike never got very happy about making this soundtrack but I think he should be proud of it. His music fits perfectly in the film.

the scene of pran saying goodbye to sydney in the rain is a movie scene that will always be in my mind forever ... it's film making at it's best ... great song aswell

My family had the privilege of helping to resettle the Ly family from Cambodia in September 1979. They are part of our family now, and we are part of theirs. And so "The Killing Fields" is a home movie, of the part of my family that went through unspeakable horror. All the children are the Ly children, all the men are "father" Ly, and all the women "mother Ly. God help us to love, cherish, embrace and celebrate ALL the members of our family.

I really think that Mike Oldfield is to be consider a Master in Soundtracks and in Music creation, i don't have the whole discography, but i'm working on it...He is so far my favourite Artist ever. he gives me emotion and joy. Thank Youi Mike!!!
