Virgin Atlantic A340-600 LANDING 27L | LHR

ABOUT THIS VIDEO

A Virgin Atlantic Airbus A340-600 makes her final approach and then lands on Runway 27L at London Heathrow Airport.

In July 2004, Cover Girl was damaged when her tail struck the runway at Washington Dulles International Airport. She was ultimately flown (unpressurised) to Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) for repairs. You can see a photo of the damage here....
