Johnny Appleseed Festival in Fort Wayne Indiana - September 15 & 16. In honor of John Chapman, also known as Johnny Appleseed.
This is my favorite festival of the year in this area.
The food is wonderful (chicken & dumplings and apple petals are favorites), vendors are dressed in period costume, parking is pretty easy and admission is FREE. Fun for the whole family.
