I posted this on here only because of a request. It's a good song that all bands play. The Black Crowes are excellent songwriters and I like this song. There is sometimes not much of a bass line, but when I have seen bands cover this live, and the bass players drop the line, the song falls apart. So it's funny the song needs the bass line, yet the bass line is rather basic. Being "basic" when it suits the song is, for me, what it's all about. Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0, a bit too much bass because I increased the lows, also used a Bergantino 12" cabinet as well. The song distorts a bit only because of the camera's intake. I have gotten to play this song live one time and people danced to it, so I guess it's a song that some people like (who can argue with people dancing to a cover band's rendition/song?--not me).

  • "Hard to Handle" was not written by the Black Crowes .. it is a 1968 song originally recorded by Otis Redding and written by Redding, Al Bell and Allen Jones.

  • PUT SOME PANTS ON LOL JK

  • At last, a video involving a bass player and you can actually HEAR the bass.

  • It's older than the black crows it might be older than the grateful dead version? but i guess there good song writers thanks for the jam

  • I get that a lot.. how so? and I am interested.. I play it differently also.. live.. I just do what I think I should.. always in B, though..
