He's rude because he's entartaining in a light and slightly offensive sort of way. You can't take him seriously. I love this sketch btw, he got what he deserved hahahah

Me too! A good idea would be to send convicted prisoners there for a stretch. I bet they wouldn't reoffend after they were released.

Its a homage to a really old Python sketch where they too had an island but instead of Clarkason's, it was inhabited solely by Alan Wicker's.
