  • Couldn't find your old video, but in answer to your comment, my modelling is very slow at the moment, as we have a new puppy, and he is taking a lot of my time now.. so the P-38 will be a while yet!! :) I ordered the Airfix 1/72 scale Spitfire Mk.Vb from their website a while ago.. Today I got the delivery, but what they sent me was the 1/24 scale Spit!!!!! Much as I LOVE paying only £5.83 for a kit worth between £50 - £65, it will go back immediately.. it is MUCH to big for me.. :) :)

  • @BasicModelling Oh, yes... I deleted the old version of this video because it was bad quality :( Yes, I saw the 1:24 Mk.Vb on sale for £60 and that was in a department store! £6 is pretty good anyway even for a 1:72 Scale kit! I prefer 1:72 as anything smaller than it has not enough detail and is too fiddly but anything above takes to long and especially for 1:32 Spits with camouflage, you can't paint it on with a brush because the joins between the colours of the camouflage is to sharp :(
