Remember seeing a band in northern Michigan at a "beerstock" party called "The Look". Don't know if this is the same band or not, memory shot after partying that night LOL.
Killer Detroit band. The Look, Almighty Strut, DC Drive, etc. A great time to be around. I was an intern at WABX when Steve Kostan worked there. Nice guy.
Wow, now this is how Down on the Bay should be performed! The 1972 original by the Move was not bad, and Cheap Trick's live version was pretty good. But, the Look gave us the truly definitive version. If a hi-fi stereo version of this (or the June 1979 Royal Oak performance) is released, I firmly believe it'd be the "forever song" that'll give the Look their well deserved place in rock annals. Huge thanks for uploading this gem.
