This was once the bottom of our garden. I lived at Rowanburn, the house behind where you were filming, nextdoor to Kelly the butchers. Bees were once kept near where you were standing. In the early/mid 60's, you could watch the steam engines starting out of Stow Station with trains to Edinburgh. In summer the engines often set fire to the grass on the bankings, a strange sight at night. Around that time the Queen once arrived at the station causing quite a stir. Thanks for posting!
@RufusT9 Hi, Your welcome. I've lived in Stow now for 5 years. Would never move back to Edinburgh. It's great in this village.
