  • What a beautiful scene!

  • He has blue eyes just like the white tigers! This one and his brother have to be kept indoors with subdued light because there's a strong chance that they may sunburn. It's hilarious to hear the visitors say, "He's not real!, he's plastic!".

  • The whole scene looks surreal. And he actually does look like he might be plastic!

But at first, zoo visitors always seem to think alligators and crocodiles are not real because they stay so still.

Recently, I was having trouble convincing a mother and son that one of the Philadelphia Zoo's Nile crocodiles was real. Fortunately, the crocodile opened his huge jaw while I was talking to them to prove I was telling the truth!
