In this video, Mahalo Windows expert Sean Hewitt shows you how to add music using Windows Movie Maker.

Step 1: Add Music
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Once you have all your photos and videos put into your movie timeline, click to place the black, vertical line cursor wherever you want the music to start. Click add music in the upper left of the toolbar. Select the track you want to add and click OK. You can control the volume of the track on the very left of the top toolbar.

Step 2: Cut Music
---------------------------------------------------------------------

If you need the music to stop (perhaps because you have video with an audio track), click where you want the music to end then click split. If you don't see this option, make sure the Music Tools tab is open.
Drag the second portion of you music to wherever on the timeline you would like the music to start again.

Step 3: Fade Out
---------------------------------------------------------------------

To fade out the music before a video clip, click on the audio track, then under the Fade Out option on the top toolbar, select the speed at which you want the music to fade.

Step 4: Add at Specific Point
---------------------------------------------------------------------

In order to add a music track in the middle of a slide or video clip, place your black line cursor where you want the track to start. When you go to click on Add Music, make sure you click the down arrow next to the music note. Then select add at current point.
