One of the cats was looking at something on the floor at my parent's house and I looked and saw that it was a tiny scorpion. I rescued the scorpion by enticing it onto a paper towel. Then I got the camera, showed my dad, entertained the scorp with a cat hair, and took it outside and let it go.

Today, that same scorpion is over 7 feet long and is responsible for thousands of dollars in livestock losses in the area.

No, that's not true. I don't know what happened to the little guy but I did all I could for him.

Video shot 1989 on 8mm tape. 12 string guitar recorded in the big bathroom with the tile walls.

  • im visiting my grandparents in texas, and i JUST found one of those, only like half that size. i live in wisconsin, so i have no idea what to so besides scream lol. are they poisonous ?

  • @singingfreak00 I don't know about scorpions in Texas, but in Florida where this was, there are no scorpions that are deadly venomous, i.e., they can sting, but it's not gonna kill you unless you have a violent allergy to the venom. That may not be the case in Texas though. You will have to do some research online and asking around because there are different species of scorpions out west than in Florida ...

  • um dude just telling u

if that scorpian stung you properly it could kill you the smaller the scorpian the more dangerous it is self defence purposes

  • None of the several species of scorpions which occur in Florida is capable of inflicting a lethal sting, and a scorpion that could basically do donuts on my fingernail probably wouldn't be able to penetrate deep enough to even deposit whatever venom he might have had. He was more pitiful than scary, and I hope he grew up and lived a happy scorpion life.
