The story is that Link is dreaming of Sheik, but it quickly turns into nightmare because he remembers all the times Sheik left him. He wakes up and goes to the "future" and starts chasing Sheik, but Sheik knows that he and Link can't be together, however much he wants to.

I have the interpretation that Sheik and Zelda are different people. This is not caconical, but this is a FAN made AMV, and therefore is a valid interpretation. So, although technichally they are the same person, who are YOU to deny fans who enjoy a different outlook?
