Watchmen Review

For the first time in awhile I'm not doing this at an obscure hour of the morning. YAY! So I really don't have an excuse if I look/act challenge. But anywho, this is just a review of the movie Watchmen, what I liked and what I didn't. Overall, I thought it was good and encourage others to watch it.

i liked the soundtrack but what REALLY bugged me: MY CHEMICAL BULLSH**'S COVER OF DESOLATION ROW. there way too modern and they suck at everything. they should have used the original bob dylan version.

u r very pretty and u gave a solid review. i havent read the novel but ik that the ending is different. im glad that u liked the movie there probly isnt another person who coulve reviewed this better than u. i loved this movie! i dressed as Rorschach for halloween i want to read the novel or at least c the motion comic. the music and score was great for this movie. very different but it fit. Snyder is my favorite director to this day i really liked what he did with this movie

@DrCruel- I've seen the motion comic for watchmen, and I didn't really notice politics at all. Most people would figure the squid was just there. And with the film, there's pretty much no politics, except for this one part somewhere in the beginning when Rorshack narrated and shown his distaste for liberals. Which is fine, I have no problem with that. I'm just pointing it out.

The comic series was designed to viciously mock "Right-wing" (or rather 'capitalist") Americans and Reagan Republicans in particular. The movie mutes this considerably. The problem Leftist fans had with replacing the squid, for example, was how this disarms one of Alan Moore's insults about Reagan (ie, his "UFO" speech).

I much preferred the movie to the comic, which was ruined for me by its stupid, obnoxious politics. The movie was much more coherent and much better done.
