John McCain started his campaign saying he was going to run clean and honorable, but he was quick enough to ditch honor, integrity, honesty and common sense if it'd get him elected.

Hence why 'experienced politician' is one of the most contemptuous insults in my personal vocabulary.

And he may not be Bush, but he and Palin were touting all the Bush policies I find most unacceptable, not the least of which was their deliberate refusal to admit when they were wrong.
