  • Beautiful ain't it! in my opinion the most beautiful whistle on any steam locomotive anywhere!

  • 4449's whistle is supplied with superheated steam. When it is not blown for a while, the steam in the line condenses sowewhat and causes the delay in hearing the whistle at full volume.
