Thanks for the video. I've tried to prepare about 3 times now and struggled. I couldn't figure it out how to easily remove the shell until I watched your video. By the way, this is the preferred way of preparing crab at Chinese restaurants (not ripping off the legs first).

Sorry, but you DO NOT take the back off first! You pop the legs off first. Much easier and cleaer that way. And how about cracking those legs? By the way, that is the method taught to me by pros at Fisherman's Wharf back in the 60s. Men were were cracking crabs since the
1920's.

thank you Mr. Beppo for your comment. I'm well aware there are many different ways to prepare crab. I suppose it's a shame domestic grocery stores don't teach their employees better.

i forgot to mention some people eat the insides. I work for luckys so it's caucasian people. i know there's lots of different ways to do crab, I eat crab roe myself.
