Demonstrating the hitting power of my .375 H&H on a 20 litre metal drum full of water. A .22-250 at the same range does not go through both sides. Brunny needed the demonstration to be convinced. He was. Now see the new video to see what happens when shooting at three drums....

  • Happy 100th birthday .375 H&H!

  • hello. need help please.

I want to choose a weapon, for EVERYTHING, but between these 3 calibers. WM 338, 375 HH, 375 WBY, I saw that the 375 is the best choice because it is more powerful, but also said that HH amo in the WBY is more slow ... what you think? the 375 WBY can shoot cartridges of the HH? and the 375 Ruger? fires HH amo? Do not even know what to choose ... I want to kill all strong, but with a variety of ammunition ($) in all countries including Africa. What do you think? tanks

  • @losteden .375 H&H ammo is apparently very widely available throughout Africa: it has been used there since 1912 and is the minimum legal calibre for a lot of dangerous game. It kills everything and is a very sensible choice.

  • @Lurch1858 but 375 of the gauges, what to choose? HH, ruger, WBY ...? the ruger seems stronger than the HH, the rifle ruger fire cartridges HH? thanks

  • @losteden I have no first-hand knowledge of those other cartridges. My understanding is that the straight .375 calibres are completely different to the .375 H&H and are less powerful, but you should do your own research online.

  • SHEESH! Try the 378 WBY!

  • "fuck me!"

  • You could pretty much do the same thing to that can of water with a 30-06 and any flavor of 165 gr to 220 gr bullet. Yes the 375 H+H is good cartridge, but for the most part its either on the light side for things like Cape Buffalo, it works for that or its to much gun to lug around when an lighter rifle will due. Its dose well enough if you can shoot it well. Most can learn to. I think the 375 Ruger in the M-77 African is a very nice package to carry and hunt with.

  • @lilticklez haha yea this is powerful enough it to powerful thay hunt grizzlys with 375H&H it's a big gun

  • @Lurch1858 Im a self-loader, obviously i understand ballistic characteristics. In orger to slow down the 375. slug to a reasonable whitetail cartridge, you'd have to be shooting something like a 350gr bullet, and that would just blow clean through. You can take down a whitetail with a 223. effectively, im just saying anything bigger than a 308. on a whitey is drastic overkill.
